xAI Grok Imagine video endpoint degraded
Hosted video generation was disrupted by failures on the xAI Grok Imagine v1 image-to-video endpoint. A workaround is deployed: the hosted default now uses Grok Imagine 1.5. Service is restored.

Service restored via the alternate video model. New action animations should complete normally. Failed runs during the incident were auto-refunded. We will keep the 1.5 default in place.

Workaround deployed: hosted video generation now uses Grok Imagine 1.5 (`grok-imagine-video-1.5-i2v`) instead of the degraded v1 endpoint. Watching for residual failures.

Issue confirmed on the provider side (Grok Imagine v1). Preparing a switch to an alternate video model while we continue monitoring.

We are seeing elevated failures against the xAI Grok Imagine image-to-video endpoint used for hosted action animations. Credits for failed runs continue to auto-refund.
